Privacy Policy

Privacy in Australia is governed by the federal Privacy Act 1988.

As required by the Privacy Act, Atom Resources Pty Ltd is committed to compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP’s): –

1. Open and transparent management of personal information.
2. Allowing for anonymity and pseudonymity.
3. Collection of solicited personal information – must have relevance.
4. Deal reasonably with unsolicited personal information.
5. Provide notification of the collection of personal information.
6. Only use or disclose the personal information collected for the purpose for which it was collected (Primary Purpose). Primary Purpose use does not require the individual’s consent.
7. Request consent from the individual if personal information is required to be used for secondary purpose(s).
8. Take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. Atom will destroy information no longer needed or appropriate.
9. Will not adopt, use or disclose government related identifiers except as required or permitted by law (e.g. USI for training organizations).
10. Ensure the quality of personal information is maintained.
11. Provides access to, and facility for, correction by the individual of the information held.
12. Will ensure storage of information is restricted to absolute minimum confidential secured locations.
13. If requested, reasonable steps will be taken to correct personal information to ensure that it is relevant, accurate and up to date.

This policy will be subject to review to ensure it remains relevant, adequate and effective.
